PUBLISHED: 11:14 21 January 2011 | UPDATED: 14:03 10 October 2012

Pilot is delighted to announce that it has acquired Today’s Pilot, providing an unbeatable new combination for readers.

From the April issue Pilot will include favourite elements of Today’s Pilot in a special section, bringing together a whole new team of the best aviation writers and photographers in one magazine.

We are delighted to welcome Today’s Pilot Editor Dave Unwin to the newly formed Pilot team. Dave will become Pilot’s Flight Test Editor and work on the Today’s Pilot section. Readers can also expect to see articles from regular Today’s Pilot contributors, and we welcome our new readers and existing subscribers from Today’s Pilot.

Since it started Pilot has been the market-leading, most authoritative GA title for over 40 years and the expanded magazine will offers readers and advertisers unbeatable value in the aviation market. It will cover everything from gliders, microlights and helicopters to private, business and commercial fixed-wing flying.

The first combined issue of Pilot incorporating Today’s Pilot will be on sale March 2.
