Pilots and owners of vintage Cessnas and Luscombes are invited to a unique event in May

THE ball continues to roll steadily regarding The Luscombe and Cessna Historic Weekend (LCHW) at Northampton, Sywell on 2 to 3 May. This is a one-off and the first time an event of this type has been planned and carried out. A mail drop inviting ‘G’ reg Cessna 120/140's has already taken place but owners of pre-1963 Cessna models are also being asked to attend. Organiser Nige Barratt said, “The event will include spot landings, half price fuel and the bar and evening dinner will be the second highlight of the day, where we all can continue to 'Banter' our differences and opinions about these two iconic classics. Shields for best Cessna, Luscombe and Spot landing will awarded that evening.
