Fun, fish and chips, camping and a jazzband at the 'Stakeout'
IF you're stuck without a idea of where to fly this weekend then why not head to Stoke Golding Airfield in Leceistershire for the legendary 'Stakeout' event hosted by Tim and Helen Jinks.Stoke Golding airfield is set amongst beautiful open countryside on the

in both AFE and Pooleys Flight Guides. It's located approximately 1nm North East of the Nuneaton VRP and is shown on the 1/2 mil CAA charts.The event is growing in popularity every year. All flying machines are welcome, food and refreshments are available plus you can also camp overnight.On Saturday night there will be a Sunset Fish and Chip Supper on the apron and on Sunday morning breakfasts are available for overnighters. The airfield's resident Traditional Jazz Band will also play on the Sunday. Approaches into the airfield are clear, flat and open and the hedges are low at both thresholds.
