2000 employees to go at US manufacturer

FURTHER adjustments to Cessna’s 2009 production schedule mean that 2000 employees are due to lose their jobs.The announcement on Monday was not unexpected as the manufacturer has already scaled down its operation in response to the worsening global recession.Cessna’s biggest customer – NetJets – has deferred a significant number of orders.
