Temporary airspace restrictions put in place over Olympic Park

Temporary restricted airspace has been introduced over the London Olympic Park at the request of the Metropolitan Police.

Temporary restricted airspace has been introduced over the London Olympic Park at the request of the Metropolitan Police.

A message on the Airspace Safety Initiative's website said that this will not affect flights into or out of the main London airports, or Police and medical flights.

It also stated that details have been published by Notam, and asks pilots to check with the AIS website or flight planning software for the latest information.
