Here’s why you don’t want to miss out on this year’s Red Bull Air Race series

The opening round of the 2016 Red Bull Air Race championship takes off in Abu Dhabi this weekend. The two-day event will see fourteen pilots compete against each other - and the clock - to complete a slalom course through 25-metre high floating pylons. The Air Race is known as the fastest motor-sport in the world as the aerobatic racing planes are capable of reaching speeds of up to 230mph.
There will be a total of eight races in eight different locations, which are as follows:

Ascot, Great Britain (13-14 August)

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (15-16 October)
