Who wants to give wing walking a try?

Book a date with what claims to be the only team in the UK fully approved by the CAA to perform charity wing walks

With 2017 firmly underway, people are trying to keep to their resolutions or set goals for the coming year. With that in mind, Compton Abbas Airfield in Dorset is offering a different kind of aviation challenge that may tempt the brave (or foolhardy) among you: a wing walk.

It will be an extraordinary experience – flying at 130mph while on top of the wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane – and is an opportunity to get sponsored by friends and family, who can watch from Compton’s terrace, to raise money for charity.

Vouchers are available for the following dates (weather dependent):

- 20 and 21 May

- 2 July

- 29 July

- 19 and 20 August

- 9 and 10 September

For more information, check the Compton Abbas website.
