Planners to visit Filton Airfield site
Members of the Development Control Committee for South Gloucestershire Council will be visiting the former Filton Airfield site on 27th March at 9.45am. They will be arriving at the BAe Flight Operations car park (via underpass access [Combination junction] on A38).
This site visit is one of several visits scheduled the purpose of which is for Committee Members to view the site and its context in light of a planning application for development (details below). It has been stated that no decision on the application will be made at that time, but members of the public are invited to be present and objectors and supporters will be allowed three minutes to speak to the Councillors present to draw their attention to particular issues of concern. This time will need to be shared if there is more than one speaker.
