As X-Plane evolves, many flight sim fans and pilots agree that this program is beginning to look like a credible alternative to the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. One man versus an institution, a marketing machine in perpetual motion. Austin Meyer has developed his flight sim program based largely on aerodynamic accuracy, and any pilot who flies a real Cessna 172 would agree that Austin’s model is closer to the real thing than is commercially available.
X-Plane is also the only Flight sim that can be used on a Macintosh PC.
